Step-by-Step Instructions for Cheesy Bacon Burger Lasagna
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Bake the bacon in a single layer on a foil-lined baking sheet for 15-18 minutes until crispy. Drain on paper towels and chop, reserving 2 tablespoons of fat.
- Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat for 6-8 minutes until browned. Drain excess fat and leave 1 tablespoon in the skillet. Add diced onion and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes, adding half the chopped bacon.
- In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, eggs, 1 cup mozzarella, ½ cup Parmesan, and a pinch of salt. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Spread 1 cup of meat sauce on the bottom, layer 4 noodles, then half of the ricotta mixture.
- Pour 1/3 of the remaining meat sauce over the ricotta, sprinkle with 1 cup mozzarella and ½ cup cheddar. Repeat layering with noodles, ricotta, meat sauce, and cheeses. Finish with noodles and remaining meat sauce, topped with cheese.
- Cover with foil (sprayed underneath). Bake for 35 minutes, then remove foil and bake an additional 15-20 minutes until golden and bubbly. Add reserved bacon in the last 5 minutes.
- Let the lasagna rest for 10-15 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley.
