For the Cake
  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil or melted butter
For the Jello
  • 1 package strawberry Jello
  • 1 package lime Jello
  • 0.5 cup boiling water
For the Topping
  • 1 container Cool Whip
  • holiday sprinkles for garnish

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Beat for 2 minutes until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 28-30 minutes.
  4. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Poke holes in the warm cake using a wooden spoon handle.
  6. In two bowls, dissolve the strawberry and lime Jello in boiling water.
  7. Spoon the strawberry Jello over half of the cake and the lime Jello over the other half.
  8. Cover the cake with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  9. Spread the Cool Whip evenly over the top of the cake.
  10. Garnish with holiday sprinkles and serve.
