Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by cutting each piece of string cheese in half crosswise, creating manageable sticks that will be perfect for dipping. Lay them out on a parchment-lined tray, ensuring they're not touching.
  2. In a small bowl, beat the large egg until well mixed and frothy. In a zipper bag, combine almond flour, coconut flour, salt, garlic powder, and paprika, sealing the bag tightly. Shake the bag gently until all ingredients are evenly mixed.
  3. Take each cheese stick, dip it into the beaten egg, then place in the flour mixture bag and shake vigorously until coated.
  4. Arrange the coated cheese sticks back onto the parchment-lined tray and place them in the freezer for at least 1 hour.
  5. Heat oil in a small pan over medium heat until it reaches 325-375°F, or preheat your air fryer to 370-400°F.
  6. Carefully add the frozen cheese sticks to the hot oil and fry until golden brown on all sides, about 2-3 minutes per side, or air fry for 5-7 minutes until crispy.
