Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by placing 1 cup of shredded chicken into your crockpot. Ensure the chicken is evenly distributed.
  2. In the same crockpot, add 1 cup of heavy cream, 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese, 1 teaspoon of minced garlic, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper. Stir until blended.
  3. Cover your crockpot and set the heat to low for 6 hours, or high for 3-4 hours.
  4. About 30 minutes prior to serving, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook 8 oz of short pasta until al dente.
  5. Once the pasta is cooked, carefully add it to the crockpot and stir to coat the pasta thoroughly in the sauce.
  6. Before serving, sprinkle freshly chopped parsley on top for color and freshness.
