  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Gather all ingredients, mince garlic, and grate ginger.
  2. Mix the Marinade: Combine hoisin sauce, low-sodium soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil in a large bowl.
  3. Marinate the Chicken: Add chicken breasts to marinade, coat thoroughly, cover, and let marinate for 30 minutes.
  4. Heat the Skillet: Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat for about 2 minutes.
  5. Sear the Chicken: Add marinated chicken breasts to the skillet, sear for 5 minutes, flip, and cook for another 5 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Set the Chicken Aside: Remove chicken from skillet, cover with aluminum foil to keep warm.
  7. Prepare the Sauce: Pour remaining marinade into the skillet, simmer for 3-4 minutes until thickened.
  8. Combine Chicken and Sauce: Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over it, and cook for another 5 minutes.
