  • 1 teaspoon Salt adjust based on cheese sodium
For the Cheese Filling
  • 8 ounces Fresh mozzarella cheese cut into 15 even cubes

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, egg, parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, dried basil, dried oregano, crushed red pepper, black pepper, and salt. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. Chop fresh mozzarella cheese into 15 even cubes.
  4. Scoop a small amount of the turkey mixture, flatten it slightly, place a cube of mozzarella in the center, and wrap the meat around the cheese. Seal well.
  5. Place the stuffed meatballs onto the lined baking sheet, spacing them evenly.
  6. Bake the meatballs for about 18–20 minutes until golden and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  7. Let the meatballs rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
